No such thing as a coincidence

After living in the same house for nearly 25 years in July I will be moving house! A part of me loves the challenge and the organisation ahead, but I don’t think the reality has actually hit me. This room I’m sitting in right now won’t be my room anymore. I won’t sit out and enjoy the sun in that garden anymore. I never met one side of my grandparents, and this is actually the house they lived in. The house will still be our families as we are planning on renting it out. I think knowing that fact is my safety blanket and that it’s not gone forever.
What made me write about this was something that happened at the weekend! I like to believe in signs. Even if they aren’t really real I still like to think that they could be.  On Saturday I was talking to my mum when I spotted a bright pink balloon sitting in the front garden. I jokingly said “oh look I wonder if that’s a sign of something “.we noticed there was note attached to this balloon. My mum ran outside to get it and then told me I was never going believe what it was. It turns out that very balloon came from the new area we are moving too. Fair enough we are only moving 4 miles up the road but i just found it strange that for all the gardens for it to end up it ended up in ours that day.  The best part was it was a balloon race for charity and the three people who find the balloon and send the note back could be in with winning a cash prize. Call it a coincidence but i think it's better to call it sign.
